My Pearl wants us to sail the ocean again

I helped some fellow broken broke PhD in their linguistics related project and some poor student lost in translation with Syria and "Arabitized Japanese Cartoons" (so do we call them Americanized Japanese Cartoons when they are dubbed in English Oo?????)
And all that talking brought a still steady playlist that followed me through the ages; when folks be prepping in prep school, some homies and I were chilling in the improvised cantine singing to out hearts' content the Arabic openings of anime. The dub may be shit but goddamn, the Syrian companies NAILED the openings, and the poerty was so researched, the lines so light that I seldom find such dedication nowadays, in the opening songs that is.
I brought up this one as an example because the way the verses flow are priceless, and and and
And because I had a decent English translation ready.....

My Pearl (Pearl was the name of the Killer Whale in the anime) wants us to sail the ocean again

My Pearl wants us to sail the ocean again

Towards a white crescent that swims towards the far horizon

Between water and sky, we sail through all adversities

Between water and sky, we sail through all adversities

And here is a star sparling to the boat he says, follow me come

The waves carry you without fatigue so stop being spoiled

To the boat he says follow me come

The waves carry you without fatigue so stop being spoiled

My pearl wants us to sail the ocean again

My pearl wants us to sail the ocean again

Towards a white crescent that swims in the far horizon

Towards a white crescent that swims in the far horizon
