Aarti Shri Ramayanji Ki

Back to Nigerudo, :D I tried asking my auntie and she knew instantly about it!

1.This  is the worship  of Sri Ramayana, the simple  and the simple song praising   the darling of Sita,
This was sung by  sage  Narada, the son of Brahma , Valmiki who is greatly wise,
This was sung by  sages Suka, Sanaka and others, the serpent king Sesha and son of wind God,
2.This was sung by Vedas, eighteen Puranas, six Shastras  as it is the  summary of them all,
This  was the wealth  of all sages and protector of all who read it ,who all agree to its essence,
3.This  was always sung by  Lord Shiva, Goddess Bhavani, the famous  sage born out of the pot,
Sage Vyasa and other sages sang all that  which is in the heart of  Sidha Kakabujundar  and Garuda ,
4.It removes the ills  of Kali age , does not deal with essence of sensuality  and is the great decoration of  dame salvation,

It cures the  disease of birth –death cycle and  is the father and mother  of Thulasidas

Life of Pi

Went to the movies today and watched Life of Pi.My first movie in Bangalore on 3D.

The visuals were so breathtaking and the 3D rendition of those two scenes made skip one minute of the movie right afterwards. They were just GORGEOUS!

It's definitely one of my rewatch materials but I don't know how I will be able to bring myself to watch on a laptop. 3D spoiled the rewatch for me...

Vivi Ornitier

Oh Vivi.
I have a warm fuzzy spot for that black mage.
Come to think of it, I like Taokaka for the Vivi resemblance.

Triathletism's Way

We've been improving great. Sid doesn't see it that way when it comes to my upper strength. He knows I don't buy in the "symmetry-proportion" speech so he tries to appeal to my yogini side by using expressions like "harmonize the body", "be disciplined everywhere the best you can".

He upped my weights and increased my mileage in the swimming track. Triathletism on the next level, here we go!

The Catterbird

The catterbird sleeps in cocoons where it shares the dreams of its species and other beings who sleep in the cocoons as well. Gentle and wise, it speaks the tongues of conscious creatures and gives counsel and help. If you attend its hatching, it’ll always look after you. When you truly need it, it’ll be there for you.

In all the fuss over my beloved series and books, I forget to speak about The Edge Chronicles. I believe it’s because most people don’t know about them and these books aren’t easy to relate to. Yet, Twig, his son and his father hold a fuzzy spot in my shelves. Everytime I think about the series, I feel my heart gently brushed the right way. And whenever I need to clean myself, I think of reading them again and I do read them again.

Then it’s like when darkness turns to light : you don’t feel stripped or washed. The whole burden is converted into something else that makes you…better ?

And you find beauty in negative spaces. The Edge Chronicles definitely makes me lose myself in the appreciation and adoration of the bewitching sight of negative spaces. It’s my own catterbird.

Nuuu! KUJA!

Sunny day

A beautiful sun, a fellow trainee is free and I realize I haven't taken any picture of the company.

I'm not big fan of the whole taking-pictures thing - my friends have been bugging me to take some, that's how I end up making some - even less posing and getting a good angle/light/pose combination.

So here goes the only shot I gave my colleague the chance to get of me, the company's garden and the company's logo. A gorgeous geared sun, how inspired!

Thank you Abhi!

How the dollar is still coping

Zeitgeist II : The Addendum on rewatch.

More than three years ago, I had to write a paper on economical inflation for a friend. I'm not a fan of the money science and by that time, I didn't know a thin about economics and was repulsed by anything having to do with finance, commerce, economy and marketing.

While looking for insight on the meaning of inflation and money - the paper was supposed to be at least 50 pages and written by a two years grad economics student, so... -, I stumbled upon this free documentary and since then, Zeitgeist series belong to my rewatch list.

How to Learn

Muad’Dib learned rapidly because his first training was in how to learn. And the first lesson of all was the basic trust that he could learn. It’s shocking to find how many people do not believe they can learn, and how many more believe learning to be difficult. Muad’Dib knew that every experience carries its lesson.

Made a friend listen to this one

But he wasn't able to point out the Indian hymn in the background.

I was curious about but hey, his music doesn't need explaining anyway.

No Poo

Starting November, I decided to go champoo free.

I will see if it lasts.
