Sending a Dream To The Universe

Once Upon a Time, I thought I disliked music and it was one of those things that didn't speak to me.

Then, one as Nobuo came by and my soul melted. After, second as Susumu reached me and my heart wasted.

As much as I loathe the overwhelming power the music of these two have over me, however I pity my being for melting and wasting away at the uninterested works of fellow humans, I still send prayers whenever I'm praying, as soon as I remember them, in their names, sending prayers for these two ar tonelicos of my own.

May I stop being before your music ceases.

I know I'm starting to be dead sleepy when :

  • I don't recognize my right from my behind.
  • I start thinking Pyramid Head is in Resident Evil and Pinhead is in Silent Hill.
  • Gozu starts making sense.
  • I strongly believe somehow, I will be paid 300 dhs if I pee myself.
  • I start wallowing in  Leto related pity because I'm thinking Leto died.

Just saying

One of these days, I will die out of my overlove to Final Fantasy VII.

Reproducing and dying

Puppet Master: I refer to myself as an intelligent life form because I am sentient and I am able to recognize my own existence, but in my present state I am still incomplete. I lack the most basic processes inherent in all living organisms: reproducing and dying.

Major Motoko Kusanagi: But you can copy yourself.

Puppet Master: A copy is just an identical image. There is the possibility that a single virus could destroy an entire set of systems and copies do not give rise to variety and originality. Life perpetuates itself through diversity and this includes the ability to sacrifice itself when necessary. Cells repeat the process of degeneration and regeneration until one day they die, obliterating an entire set of memory and information. Only genes remain. Why continually repeat this cycle? Simply to survive by avoiding the weaknesses of an unchanging system.

Cyborg Fever

Of all the cyborgs I know, I relate to major Kusanagi the most.

The constant look for the humanity within one's self.
The constant investigation in one's own discipline and psyche.
The quick decisions and the going on with consequences.

There was a time I wished I had a powerful cyborg body. If such time was to be repeated and such wish was to be granted, I wouldn't regret having Kusanagi's body as much as the next cyborg.

But then again, in a universe where I can get to be a ghost in the shell, why not a tecknohuman, an EVA or biomechanic form of existence of my own demise.

I need to go to sleep.

In Memoriam

'We hereby commit our beloved
Into the eternal rest of thy kingdom
Into the dreams of thy gentle arms
Neither great nor small are we
Off into the distance we go, only to be born again
And thus we are called the far wanderers.
Though we wander the earth seeking thee
No answers are we given
Naught but shadows do we see in this troubled world
Yet we know not fear
The words of silence are known to us
And as we see the unseen
We are thee and thou art us
This far wanderer we now commit to thee'

 Rest in peace, Oliver.

Chroniko No Melody

Kaiba en rewatch. The only thing I came to reproach to this wonderful jewel is the lack of emotional causality after the sacrifice of Vanilla... The only thing though.

Baby steps, Oru'! Baby steps!

My Elin lancer is coming on nicely. First impressions are positive: TERA is a beautiful game with a promising stroyline and many classes and options.

It's too bad it doesn't let you personalize the stats of your character as you want. Still, the glyphes system is all up to me so I won't be complaining.

The lancer is the tank of this game and at first sight, it seems that tanking can be done by other classes as well. I'm not sure how it is going to be here but I do hope it will be better than Neverwinter.

Dreamwriting vs Dreamreading

I accidentally stumbled upon this on the internet and I don't know where a comicstrip from Hard-boiled Wonderland and the End of the World is hiding but I WANT IT. The artwork seems beautiful.

I believe it's an extract from the dreamreader time at the library.

As a dreamwriter, I find dreamreading and dreamlistening to be such a selfless act. Of course when it is sincerely performed. It's such a selfless act.
