I..I'm speechless.

These are rough times

'Still, friends tell me these are tough times, tough times for muslims. Well,  I’ve heard these are tough times for Arabs too, for brown people as well, for minorities in general, for African-Americans, for gays, for single 30-40 years-old women, for girls suffering from lack of self-esteem, for people wanting to wear the bindi yet have nothing to do with Hindu religion, for Hindu people who don’t want to see the bindis on some culture appropriation people, for job seekers, for dreamers, for hardworkers, for students, for politicians, for animals, for crops, for the Earth.

Life is full of goings and comings. Bilbo is right. As he was right to notice that the path from his doorstep could lead to Rivendell and to Mordor, to the Misty Mountains and the party tree, to tough and good times. You get to choose. To choose everything, from the path to how you will perceive it.

What an adventure.'

This Be The End

This be the end to a full week of social life rocking it the hard way.

It's 2h05am and I'm at the bride's parents home, half sleepy yet not fully and about to drink a Power Horse.

Up to now, I honestly never understood why people wanted people to attend their weddings so much. I've always loathed attending weddings and official occasions, but specially weddings. As soon as I was able to have my own saying, I never ever put a foot on one.

Now, close friends are getting married. They require and bequeath and insist and pleade and order and expect that YOU COME IN A CAFTAN TO THEIR WEDDING GEEZUS IT'S NOT GONNA KILL YOU.

This week was exhausting on so many levels and way too full but at this ungodly hour, two hours from my train and seven hours from coming back to my apartment, I finally realize why it was so important for my friends that I attend their events. And I'm thankful for it and grateful that my roomie didn't let me bail out on them as I'm used to do and grateful I didn't bail out on myself and went through with it.

This was such an exhausting week and I need some sleep and a lot of social silence but it was worth it, inspiring, excellent, amazing, eye opening and everything everything everything everything.

And now, just because all my pictures are goofy anyways, I chose the goofiest ones of the week.

Someone is JUST not used to wearing traditional clothing and no pants.

Muuuuuuuuch better, still very Koroon though.

Coffee with Cinnamon

This is a tablespoon of cinnamon.

This is a teaspoon of coffee.

This is 500ml of coffee with cinnamon.

And this is the start of a hectic yet promising week-end that will open up to a hectic yet promising week.
Life keeps getting more and more hardcore in Casanegra.

99 Francs en rediffusion.

Je le fais découvrir à un copain. A priori, ça va plaire.

You can't zero in

...The point is you CANNOT zero in. You can only zoom.

We can't design anything to work. We work only try to find out if a certain design might fail in a certain specific way.

Briwates and Un gars Une fille

Chilling at one of my homie's place. Briwate and a corky yet funny french sitcom.

It's been such a WHILE since I watched TV and the ads became so agressive and insisting!

Shonen Magazines

Went with the family to the local commercial center.

Found first issues of shonen magazines.

Indeed, you find the weirdest things in the most improbable places.

Hey old timer

-Why would you want to get out? It's a whole different world outside. They have silicon boobies and computer phones. You wouldn't know what to do with them.

My mornings are brought to me by Prison Break.

We the animals take control

"There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part; you can't even passively take part, and you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop."

To save face, how low can you go
Talk a lot of game but yet you don't know
Static on the way make us all say whoa
The people up top push the people down low

Get down and obey every word
Steady get in line if you haven't yet heard
Wanna take what I got, don't be absurd
Don't fight the power, nobody gets hurt
If you haven't heard yet then I'm letting you know
There ain't shit we don't run when the guns unload
And no one make a move unless my people say so
Got everything outta control, now everybody go

Steel unload, final blow
We the animals take control
Hear us now, clear and true
Wretches and kings we come for you

So keep pace, how slow can you go
Talk a lot of shit and yet you don't know
Fire on the way, make you all say whoa
The people up top and the people down low

Get down and I'm running it like that
The front of the attack is exactly where I'm at
Somewhere in between the kick and the hi hat
The pen and the contract, the pitch and the contact

So get with the combat, I'm letting 'em know
There ain't shit you can say to make me back down no
So push the button let the whole thing blow
Spinning everything outta control, now everybody go

Steel unload, final blow
We the animals take control
Hear us now, clear and true
Wretches and kings we come for you

Steel unload, fire blow
Filthy animals beat them low
Skin and bone, black and blue
No more this sun shall beat unto you

From the front to the back and the side to side
If you fear what I feel put 'em up real high

And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all."

What I have been doing

I promised myself not to post anything mechanics related here but basically, when I'm not out with friends or talking to my roomie/homie/cutie-patootie, I'm on this:

4/5/14

One bright day, in the middle of the night,
Two dead boys got up to fight.
Back to back, they faced each other,
Drew their swords and shot one another.
A deaf policeman heard the noise.
Came and killed the two dead boys.

Nothing to do with the pictures and a complete weird poem to tell one's self on such sunny day with such bright moods and warmhearted company.

This pleasure of being quiet with some homies, enjoying the sun while sleeping on a bench at a public place.

4/3/14

Goodness

Thank god for mechanics EVERYWHERE, specially in my life.
